IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER II

The Implementation Manager II leads client implementations, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with client business objectives. This role steers clients and project teams through all phases of implementation, proactively addressing obstacles, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. The Implementation Manager II communicates confidently and clearly with executives and clients, connects business needs to solution delivery, and drives continuous improvement throughout the implementation lifecycle.

You may be ideal if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, healthcare, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or a related role; healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with technology implementations; familiarity with enterprise software platforms preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and teams.

Responsibilities:
Leadership

  • Exhibits confidence and poise when engaging with client executives and internal stakeholders, especially under pressure.
  • Steers clients and teams toward successful delivery, proactively addressing obstacles.
  • Mentors Implementation Manager I team members.

Communication

  • Delivers clear, persuasive communications to clients and executives, ensuring understanding of project objectives, risks, and decisions.
  • Proactively socializes project milestones and dependencies to internal and external clients.
  • Maintains client relationships throughout implementation, serving as the main point of contact for escalations.
  • Leads meetings and steering committees with key stakeholders.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • Connects client business objectives to solution delivery, making informed decisions and articulating rationale and impact to stakeholders.
  • Observes and supports operational workflow discussions to offer consultative recommendations.
  • Validates solution designs against client workflows and data requirements for accuracy and scalability.

Project Execution

  • Fully accountable for effective creation and timely usage of all implementation materials, including but not limited to project plans, RAID logs, business requirements, test plans, and status reports.
  • Ensures business requirements and related technical requirements are completed accurately and timely.
  • Documents implementation plans to complement Statements of Work.
  • Coordinates client training and services as required.
  • Supports UAT planning and execution in a consultative capacity.
  • Monitors project progress and proactively adjusts plans and activities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Actively manages client delivery through close collaboration with the delivery owner and ongoing monitoring of JIRA for task completion and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provides feedback on toolkit and templates to drive improvement.
  • Collaborates with Growth and Client Success teams to identify process improvements.
