Job Summary:
A Data Services Engineer Level II role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data infrastructure, databases, and data pipelines to support data-driven applications, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. This role involves taking ownership of data engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data services. The Data Services Engineer Level II plays a key role in advancing the organization's data strategy and capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and resilient data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data infrastructure and capabilities.
Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, transform, and load data from various sources.
Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline data pipeline workflows and operations.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of data infrastructure, databases, and data pipelines.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and fine-tune configurations to improve efficiency and scalability.
Implement and maintain data security measures, access controls, and compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
