Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Team Manager / Director to lead and grow our BI team, currently consisting of four members. This role is pivotal in transitioning our BI function from an entrepreneurial approach to a scalable, process-driven model. The ideal candidate will excel at team leadership, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment, ensuring the delivery of impactful BI solutions while driving team objectives.

You may be ideal if you have:
- 5–7 years of Business Intelligence experience, with a proven track record in delivering data- driven insights.
- Minimum of 3 years as a BI Team Manager, with demonstrated success in team leadership and operational oversight.
- Proven success delivering Business Intelligence solutions as a component of a SaaS platform.
- At least 1 year of experience working within Agile frameworks, managing projects in a dynamic, iterative environment.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in BI platforms, preferably Domo, with expertise in data visualization, reporting, and analytics best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Payment integrity experience is a plus but not required.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four BI professionals, fostering collaboration, skill development, and innovation.
- Prepare for and manage anticipated team growth, ensuring a seamless onboarding and development process for new team members.
Operational Efficiency
- Establish, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and quality across BI deliverables.
- Transition the BI offering from an entrepreneurial model to a scalable and repeatable framework, ensuring sustainability and efficiency.
Strategic Alignment
- Align team activities with organizational OKRs, prioritizing initiatives that deliver high-impact analytics and insights.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the BI team, translating business needs into actionable data strategies.
Technical Leadership
- Drive the adoption and effective use of BI platforms, with a strong preference for Domo, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights and data visualizations.
- Stay abreast of emerging BI trends and technologies, implementing best practices to enhance the team’s capabilities.
Agile Methodology
- Apply Agile principles to manage workflows, optimize project delivery, and foster a flexible, iterative approach to BI development.
Artificial Intelligence Integration
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance BI offerings, providing clients with innovative generative AI solutions tailored to their needs.
- Utilize AI to facilitate the development of BI artifacts, such as dashboards and reports, ensuring efficiency and innovation in design and execution.
- Employ AI-powered tools to ensure accuracy and quality control in BI artifacts, maintaining high standards in data visualization and analytics.
Additional Focus Areas
- Provide guidance and support for projects involving payment integrity, leveraging experience or domain knowledge to enhance analytical output (preferred but not required).
