Location: Remote

The Product Owner is a Pareo and payment integrity subject matter expert. They understand our products and our market business needs inside and out, allowing them to advise clients on the optimal way to structure their workflows to accomplish client business goals while also using Pareo to its best advantage. Business analysis skills and previous experience with software development projects are key success factors for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Establish and manage strong working relationships with key business partners.

· Develop scope and define backlog items (Epics/features/user stories) that guide the engineering dev teams.

· Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.

· Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.

· Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integrations and dependencies.

· Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.

· Represents team in front of stakeholders, clients or users

· A member of the team

· Follow our competitors and the industry.

· Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends.

· Work closely with Product Management and SLT to create a product that fits the company portfolio.

· Escalate usability and performance issues as required, maintaining ownership of issues through resolution.

· Continuously assess, identify, and present opportunities to improve the customer experience.
